golf balls spin rate

I need help with my club setup?
So currently I am playing the titleist Ap2 irons with x100 shafts +1/2 inch.
I hit them way too high with too much spin. I am a very high launcher of the golf ball. (My swing speed is around 115 on average)
I put them on the frequency machine today and it said they were at a 6.2 on the rifle meter which is barely over stiff.
What are some ways to bring the ball flight down? Would a true x (around 7.0 on the rifle scale) bring my ballflight down?
Or is it that the ap2s are just too high launching irons because of the tungsten weighting?
My ultimate goal is to bring my launch rate and spin rate of my irons way down.
What would the best iron setup be for this?
I DO NOT want advice on technique.

The easiest fix? Take the 1/2″ off the butt end. When you lengthen any club you make it play softer, and thus spin more and launch higher. No surprise that your Xs are freqing very soft
Now the AP2 is a very bottom weighted club, which is also a contributor. You may want to trade those in on something with a little higher center of gravity, standard length and rifle 6.5 or Dynamic Gold x100. I wouldn’t bother to replace the shafts in your clubs, as the cost will be about the same as simply trading clubs
