Do i need to have a passport to make a vacation trip to mauritius?

Im an Indian and planning togo there for a week long vacation

You will need a passport for travelling to any country except Bhutan and Nepal.

You will not need a visa provided that you:
– do not stay for longer than 15 days
– hold a valid passport
– have a valid confirmed return ticket to travel back to your country of origin/residence
– have confirmed booking for accommodation
– have evidence of sufficient funds i.e. US$50 per day
– are eligible to re-enter your country of origin/residence
– do not engage in any gainful activities

If you do not comply with above requirements a visa must be applied for at the
